The Olympic Developmental and Learn-to-Dive Programs are community based, entry level diving programs, under the umbrella of the Capitol City Diving Club, aimed at filling the needs of enthusiastic athletic participants of all ages and abilities within the Ottawa region. Programs are currently run at both the Nepean Sportsplex and Walter Baker pools.

The sport of diving encourages mental focus through concentration and learned discipline. The development of spatial orientation, mental and physical coordination further increase the athlete’s attention span. Athletes begin with basic skills on the 1-metre spring-board and progress through each task at their own individual rate.

Learn-to-Dive Fall, Winter & Spring programs, Levels 1 through 4, are offered most every day except Wednesday, beginning the first week of September. The Summer classes are held differently - please check program schedules. The cost is $115.00/session. A youth/adult class is available Tuesday evening for $115.00/session.

The more competitive Olympic Developmental Diving program runs Monday-Friday from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm from the Nepean Sportsplex. Pool. September through May. Cost varies with participation.
